Last February 9, we officially kickstarted Dive into Tech: The Ribbonfish Innovation Challenge at our London office. For the first time ever, we are organizing this competition in partnership with three societies from some of the top UK universities namely Imperial College Women in SET, LSE Women in Tech, and UCL Data Science Society.

With each participant coming from different backgrounds, Dive into Tech is poised to become a a vibrant demonstration of the up-and-coming talents from various universities, career changers, and passionate tech enthusiasts are capable of when they harness their creativity and skills.

Over the next couple of weeks, they will take on the challenge of building a cutting-edge recruitment app using the Salesforce platform. As we embark on this journey, we will share some snippets so that everyone can witness the transformative ideas and solutions that they bring into life that push the boundaries of technology.

While the challenge has just begun, we already feel inspired and energized from the talent and vigor that each individual brings into the stage. It’s not just about solving problems; it’s about challenging the status quo and reimagining the future.

Our winner from a similar challenge last year, Sam, has used this platform to become an intern before advancing as a Digital Marketing Executive. In just less than a year later, she has become appointed as the Managing Director of Ribbonfish’s soon-to-be-opened office in Manila. Her growth is a testament to the limitless possibilities of what lies ahead for those who take risks and seize opportunities.

We look forward to making the Dive into Tech: The Ribbonfish Innovation Challenge a remarkable experience for everyone involved. Stay tuned for more highlights and don’t forget to follow us on our LinkedIn for updates and clips regarding this endeavor!
